Hello! Welcome in! After an introduction like that, could you really resist reading this? Well, yeah probably…you must be bored.
My name is Stephanie (you probably guessed that). I’m 22 years old, and live in Cedar City, Utah. Scratch that, I am currently exiled to the edge of the world in a place my parents like to call ‘home’ which is in Parowan Valley.
I like to think of myself as a nice person. I can be fairly sarcastic and a little bit silly, but when it’s time to be serious I can put on a game face.
I am generally, and thoroughly, mocked for my love of the television series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Of which I own the first four seasons. But I stand solid that it is an amazing show that I would recommend to almost anyone. (almost includes several members of this site) 😉
I was raised in a family of 6 children, and so I am often unforgivably selfish, but I try to smile often when I’m doing it. I can be lazy to a fault, and to excuse myself from doing anything, I say it’s too cold to get up in the Winter, and too hot to move in the Summer.
But really, I am a nice girl. (please be my friend?)
Currently in my life: I just moved out of an apartment I shared with my friend, DaAnn, because she lost her job, and let’s face it; Cedar City’s job markets sucks. So I’m living in my parents basement (oh how cliche).
Tomorrow I will be flying 15+ hours, plus airport time, to visit my boyfriend in New Zealand. His name is Alister, and I pretty much talk about him too much. But he’s hot. And very sweet and loving and intelligent and all that important stuff too.
(you know, thinking all this stuff up is harder than it looks)
I am a music girl. I love listening, playing, singing, anything. I play clarinet, guitar, sing. I also know the notes on the piano and I can play taps on a trumpet, but I don’t think that counts much.
I also love writing (shocker?) and have actually written a few songs. I won’t kid myself, they aren’t any good. But practice makes…better I hope.
All in all, I must say that I really do like me. I’m good with who I am. And I’m pretty proud of that fact.
Stephanie
